Cinnamon Toast S’more

These Cinnamon Toast S’mores add a fun twist to the classic campfire treat by using cinnamon toast instead of graham crackers. 

Cinnamon Toast: – 8 slices of bread (any type you prefer) – 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened – 1/4 cup granulated sugar – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

S’mores: – 4 large marshmallow – 2 full-size chocolate bars, broken into pieces (or use chocolate squares)

Prepare the Cinnamon Toast: – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). – In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. – Spread the softened butter evenly on both sides of each bread slice.

– Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over both sides of each buttered bread slice. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. – 

Bake the Cinnamon Toast: – Bake the bread slices in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Assemble the S’mores: – Preheat your broiler or prepare a campfire. – Place a piece of chocolate on one slice of cinnamon toast.

Add Nutella: Spread a layer of Nutella on the cinnamon toast before adding the chocolate and marshmallow for an extra chocolatey treat. 

Peanut Butter: Add a layer of peanut butter to the cinnamon toast for a sweet and salty flavor combination. 

– Press down gently to sandwich the marshmallow and chocolate between the cinnamon toast slices. – Serve immediately while the marshmallow is still warm and gooey.
