Make Starbucks Pumpkin Loaf at Home

Busy days often call for the ease of an early Starbucks run. You can be ready to take on the day in a couple of minutes with a croissant in one hand and a coffee in the other.

While this could be simple on certain mornings, eating a pastry, such as a slice of pumpkin loaf from Starbucks, can be high in added sugar and low in nutrients,

making it difficult to feel full until lunchtime. What if we told you that you could have your go-to bread, which is healthier, and the convenience of a Starbucks run every morning, right at home?

We took the time to create a healthy recipe that you may make at home in place of the Starbucks Pumpkin Loaf.

This recipe uses maple syrup instead of sugar to provide sweetness in the loaf. Greek yoghurt is used in the recipe to give the bread that deliciously moist texture and boosts the amount of protein in your morning meal.

In order to preserve the wheat's natural fibre, which makes you feel fuller for longer, we also sun-cure certain whole wheat flour.

1/3 cup sunflower oil 3/4 cup maple syrup 2 eggs A cup of pure pumpkin 1 tsp vanilla

1/4 cup plain non-fat Greek yoghurt 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour 3/4 cup wholewheat 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice 1 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 2- 3 Tbsp pepitas
